Only an hour outside of Spain’s bustling capital city of Madrid, you can find yourself reveling in the history of one of the most famous Roman aqueducts in the world in the town of Segovia. Towering over the village’s center, the aqueduct spans over 700 meters and is the best preserved Roman monument in Spain.

It’s one of the most enchanting parts of Segovia and is tucked away in a wide expanse of green plains that lead up to the Guadarrama Mountain range. Taking in the view of this medieval city behind the backdrop of these snow-capped mountains is the perfect way to spend the afternoon.

Using Manual Focus

The Samsung NX300 allows you to shift from Auto Focus [AF] to Manual Focus [MF] easily by flicking a switch on your lens. Auto Focus is great if you’re walking around with friends and need to snap shots on the go, without falling behind. Manual Focus allows you to narrow your depth of field, isolating the sharpness of some objects, while blurring out the rest of the image.

In the two images below the first image features the woman as the main focus, while in the second image, the male statue takes the spotlight. When using Manual Focus on the Samsung NX300 you can utilize the “MF Assist” function by rotating the focus ring. When you do this, the area you are pointing towards magnifies allowing you to sharpen your focus more easily.
