Sharing Moments On The Go With Samsung NX300’s Mobile Link

It seems that nowadays if you enter a restaurant, cafe, or bar, you can take one glance around and are guaranteed to see at least one person snapping away with their smartphone and sending it to a friend. Instant sharing has become an integral part of the millennial generation, where even the smallest moments of life have their own dedicated filter, Facebook post, and hashtagged caption.

With the current array of “smart” devices available, people are able to stay connected wherever they go. Many people have transitioned into taking photos with their smartphones instead of cameras so they can instantly send them via email or upload them to their favorite social network. However, by doing so they also end up compromising the quality of their photos.

That’s when having a photographer in your circle of friends comes in handy. There always seems to be that one friend that becomes the “designated photographer” of the group (that’s usually me in my group of buddies). He/she is typically the one that everyone asks to get photos from post-outing. And while mobile photos are just fine for online sharing and tagging, taking photos with a high-quality camera is what really wows and stands out from the others on a social newsfeed.

Samsung’s SMART CAMERA is a great high-res alternative to the typical phone shot and offers a more lightweight body than DSLR’s, which tend to be on the clunkier side. It also offers an easy snap-to-share “Mobile Link” feature so you can stay connected, just like you would on your mobile device.

The “Mobile Link” feature allows you to link up with your friends’ smartphones and share photos directly from your camera onto their phone. So instead of waiting for your friend to send that Dropbox link or upload that new album online, you can have the gratification of getting all of their shots right off the bat.

To use the “Mobile Link” feature, set your camera in Wi-Fi mode and select the “Mobile Link” option. From there you can connect to the nearest smart mobile device. Once you’re connected, you can select which photos you’d like to share. Then the mobile user can accept and save these photos directly onto their phone.

In addition to this “Mobile Link” feature, the SMART CAMERA has the capability to email your photos, share them to different social networks, and even wirelessly back them up to your computer. Can’t say no to a camera that lets you shoot and share great images on-the-go!
